Road Cleanup
Keeping our North Shore roads beautiful and litter-free.

The Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay is seeking volunteers to assist with North Shore projects in the following areas.
Keeping our North Shore roads beautiful and litter-free.
From primary school through high school, the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay provides dictionaries to third graders, distributes the Teacher of the Year Award for Hanalei and Kīlauea Elementary Schools, and provides scholarships to high school seniors through the Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation and others.
Beginning with the building of the gazebo at the Kīlauea Community Agricultural Center, the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay has been involved since the inception of this ever-expanding project. The Rotary Orchard was planted in 2019, and a number of trees have been planted in memorial to designated individuals. Fruits from the trees have been distributed in food boxes to kūpuna. In the summer of 2025, a peace pole was installed to add to the inspirational nature of the project.
Recognizing and supporting the heart-of-gold members of our community.
In partnership with the Rescue Tube Foundation (rescuetubefoundation.org), we help place and maintain Public Access Rescue Tubes along North Shore beaches. These life-saving flotation devices stand guard 24 hours a day, 365 days a year — available for anyone to grab and use to safely assist a swimmer in distress, protecting both the rescuer and the victim and helping reduce preventable drownings in our recreational waters.
Partnering with St. William Church to feed neighbors in need.
Supporting the Anaina Hou Community Park playground.
Rapid response and recovery support when our community needs it most.
