Vacation for Giving: Service Above Self for the Long Road Ahead

Aerial view of The Cliffs at Princeville resort on Kauaʻi's North Shore

Since Hurricane Lowell, Rotarians of Hanalei Bay have been checking on kūpuna, clearing debris and standing with neighbors across the North Shore. As this week's rain reminds us, with the Hanalei Bridge closed again by floodwaters, recovery here isn't finished.

Vacation for Giving normally funds our scholarships and community partners. This year every dollar supports our Disaster Relief work and Hurricane Lowell recovery, alongside Mālama Kauaʻi, focused on the needs that emerge in the months ahead: food security, home repair and more.

How to Give

Give $50 or more and receive entries in our donation-based drawing as our thank-you. One grand prize recipient will enjoy 6 days and 5 nights at The Cliffs at Princeville, round-trip West Coast airfare for two, a rental car, $500 in dining certificates and Kauaʻi activities, or choose $2,500 cash. Entries close November 20; the drawing is on or about November 21.

Ready to help? Give and enter here, or give directly to the Hurricane Lowell North Shore Recovery Fund. Full details are in the Official Rules.

Rotary clubs and friends up and down the West Coast: please share this with your members. To learn more about our Disaster Relief work or get involved, contact Mark Wolfendale.
