Aloha Angels, spun off from the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay in May 2015, is now a donor advised fund at the Hawaii Community Foundation, and receives major funding from all five Rotary clubs on Kauai.

With donations from individuals, businesses and foundations, Aloha Angels currently supports seven youth-related programs on Kauai: Adopt a Class, Adopt an After-School Club, Adopt a Junior Achievement Course, Adopt a Student Teacher (Growing Our Own Teachers), Adopt a Computer, Adopt a Tech Trainee (Hawaii Society of Technology for Educators) and Adopt a Teacher's Project (DonorsChoose.org).

During the three years Adopt a Class, Adopt a Club and Adopt a Computer were a part of Rotary, they generated $380,000 for Kauai teachers and students, primarily on the North Shore. For creating Adopt a Class and Adopt a Club, the club received the prestigious Rotary International Significant Achievement Award in 2013-14 and 2014-15.

In its first seven months, Aloha Angels raised more than $300,000, enabling it to adopt all 230 home-room classes at Kauai's 12 public elementary schools.
